The meeting will begin in AG66 on 18th September at 9:30 am with a pedagogical review talk on aspects of compact objects by Prof. Sourav Chatterjee from TIFR.
One of the main goals of this meeting is to facilitate collaborative work, which is hard to sustain without regular follow-up, and to spark new collaborations. Both have worked well in previous chapters, and we would love to keep that vibrancy going. So please look at the participant list and your own diary of ideas, and jot down what you'd want to work on together, brainstorm, or simply catch up on. Once you have these in mind, please add them to the sheet linked below. You can also use it to simply flag what you bring to the table (a dataset, an analysis technique, a tool) that's another good way for us to map out our collective strengths.
Lunch and dinner on 18th September, and lunch on 19th September, will be provided at the TIFR guest house for all participants. We are not arranging dinner on 17th or 19th, and hope you'll use the opportunity to explore the local restaurant scene. Breakfast on 18th, 19th, and 20th is included for participants staying at the guest house as part of the accommodation.
